Join TCEQ as a Hydrologist IV and work in the Water Availability Division, reviewing water right applications and providing technical support to agency staff and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hydrology, engineering, geology, mathematics, or a natural or physical science
- Six years of full-time experience performing hydrologic work of similar character, scope, and complexity
- Experience working with Texas statutes, rules, and policies for surface water rights
- Experience using Water Availability Models (WAMs) and/or surface water simulation models
- Experience working with surface-water hydrologic data and databases
- Experience using GIS (ArcGIS PRO)
