Job Description
TxDOT’s Dallas District is looking for a Transportation Engineer II, III, or IV to perform advanced and complex transportation engineering work. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to manage and perform design work for challenging projects and gain experience in consultant contract management, hydrologic & hydraulic design, and more.
Requirements
- Performs highly advanced and complex engineering design work
- Performs and/or coordinates the review and processing of Plans, Specifications, and Estimates
- Monitors consultants' progress and work quality; checks invoices and associated documents
- Represents the district at technical meetings and public hearings
- Reviews schematics, PS&E, project designs on engineering transportation projects
- Makes presentations and represents TxDOT
- Performs other duties as assigned
