The Program Specialist II performs consultative services and technical assistance work in the Construction and Facilities department. The position involves creating and implementing agency programs, providing technical assistance, and conducting reviews and analyses.
Requirements
- Highly motivated and experienced with Consultative service and technical assistance, planning, developing.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations relevant to business function, division, or department areas, and of the principles and practices of public administration and management.
- Skill in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems and in operating computers and applicable computer software, Expertise in Microsoft Access.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university plus six months of full-time experience in the development, implementation, or interpretation of policies and procedures in a public or private agency.
