Technology Instructor (Austin)

We are looking for a Technology Instructor II-IV to join the Technology Department at the Criss Cole Rehabilitation Center in Austin, Texas. The successful candidate will teach and instruct students in skills necessary for achievement of independent living and work, and will coordinate appropriate services for students from the results of assessments.

Requirements

• Experience in planning, teaching and evaluating in a training program environment individually and in group setting to adults with disabilities
• Experience in assessing clients' functional levels and planning an individualize program of instruction with or on behalf of the customer
• Knowledge of rehabilitative assessment techniques and tools of the rehabilitative process (JAWS, Narrator, Voice Over, etc)
• Knowledge and experience using braille
• Knowledge and experience in editing HTML code
