Electronic Equipment Design Assurance engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Aircraft Electronic Software and Hardware Engineering Specialist to join our Electronic Equipment Design Assurance (EEDA) team at our facility in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada. The ideal candidate will have a university engineering degree in Avionics, Electronics, Software, or equivalent, and at least 8 years of technical engineering experience, including at least 5 years in aeronautics.

Requirements

• University engineering degree in Avionics, Electronics, Software, or equivalent
• Minimum of 8 years of technical engineering experience, including at least 5 years in aeronautics
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in airborne software and electronic hardware
• Working knowledge of airborne software and electronic hardware guidance and Means of Compliance
• Multiple programming languages and hardware description languages
• Development and testing (FPGA, ASIC, or PLD)
• Knowledge of requirements capture environments
• Understanding of embedded computer architectures, operating systems, and real-time executives
• Eligible for a P. Eng. or equivalent
• Ambitious, results-driven, and able to work autonomously with little supervision
• Organized, detail-oriented, a team player, self-motivated, customer-focused, and able to work under pressure
