Job Description
We are pioneers in the field of on-demand mobility, and we are seeking a highly motivated Aircraft Electronic Software and Hardware Engineering Specialist to join our Electronic Equipment Design Assurance (EEDA) team.
Requirements
- University engineering degree in Avionics, Electronics, Software, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 8 years of technical engineering experience, including at least 5 years in aeronautics.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in airborne software and electronic hardware:
- Working knowledge of airborne software and electronic hardware guidance and Means of Compliance, including ARP-5754A/B, RTCA DO-178B, DO-178C and supplements, DO-248B/C, DO-254, DO-297 (IMA), DO-326A/DO-356A/DO-355 (Cuber security), DO-330, DO-200A, FAA AC 20-115D, AC 20-152A, Order 8110.49A, and 8110.105A.
- Functional knowledge of French (commit to acquiring within 2 years of hiring).
- Functional knowledge of English is required for this position, as it involves communication in English with Bell teams outside of Quebec and/or its suppliers, partners, and clients outside of Quebec.
- Multiple programming languages (C, C++, Ada95, Assembly, Python, etc.) and Multiple hardware description languages.
- Development and testing (FPGA, ASIC, or PLD).
- Knowledge of requirements capture environments (DOORS, JAMA, etc.).
- Understanding of embedded computer architectures, operating systems, and real-time executives.
- Eligible for a P. Eng. or equivalent.
- Ambitious, results-driven, and able to work autonomously with little supervision.
- Organized, detail-oriented, a team player, self-motivated, customer-focused, and able to work under pressure.
- Proactive, adaptable, flexible, and innovative with a strong sense of accountability and integrity.
- Experience with airworthiness authorities or their authorized engineers is an asset.
