Job Description
The Production Planner will develop and manage the execution of the production schedule, partner with procurement and production manager to plan and manage development, production, and aftermarket support environments, and provide feedback to internal customers. The role requires a bachelor's degree in supply chain or a related field and 2-3+ years of professional experience.
Requirements
- Develop and manage the execution of the production schedule
- Partner with procurement, production manager, quality, engineering, and program management
- Release of internal jobs to the factory
- Manage disruptions in the internal factory
- Provides feedback to internal customers
- Advises management of the status of work in progress
- Monitors internal and external supply chain alignment
- Plays an integral part of product Integrated Product Teams (IPT)
- Assists management in the development and execution of action/workaround plans
- Analyzes supply and demand data
- Manages manual demand for top/down & bottom-up releases
- Facilitates ECN/ECP changes and coordinates production cut-ins
- Reviews excess material for possible consumption in other jobs
- Creates material transfers, borrow/payback transactions and PO change requests
