We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our team in the development of electronic controls for a space-grade weapons program. The successful candidate will be responsible for all technical aspects of the project, ensuring the integration of technical efforts across Cognizant Engineers and supporting organizations.
Requirements
- Lead and manage the technical aspects of the project, ensuring alignment with program goals and engineering standards.
- Ensure the integrity and performance of aerostructure and/or electronic control box packaging through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Drive the execution of engineering processes, including design, development, prototyping, and testing.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and reliability.
- Plan and allocate engineering resources effectively to meet project milestones and deliverables.
- Coordinate efforts across Cognizant Engineers and supporting organizations to ensure seamless technical integration within the project.
- Oversee the project budget, manage costs, and ensure that the project remains within financial constraints.
- Supervise a team of multi-disciplined direct reports, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
