Sr Packaging Engineer

We are seeking a Sr Packaging Engineer to develop new Packaging Solutions in support of shipping solutions for aircraft components. The role involves designing reusable shipping containers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful packaging solutions that align with project goals and sustainability objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology
• At least 2 years of experience as a Packaging Engineer or Material Handling Engineer
• Experience in developing, implementing, and improving processes, preferably using Six Sigma methodologies
• Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
• Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CAD
• Understanding and knowledge of MS Project and/or Steelray or similar project management software
