Systems Engineer III

Textron Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer III to join the Uncrewed Land and Air Systems team in Hunt Valley, Maryland. The ideal candidate will have experience in hardware and/or software integration, managing requirements derivation and allocation, and working successfully within a collaborative team environment. The role involves supporting the full life cycle development of products, including new product development, product upgrades, payload design, integration and test, and fielding solutions for military and commercial customers.

Requirements

• Engineering Design and Development: Lead full-lifecycle engineering design and development activities on established and disruptive new products.
• Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE): Develop and maintain system models using MBSE methodologies and tools.
• Systems Integration and Testing: Lead hands-on integration of components and subsystems into Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) and/or Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAVs).
• Collaboration and Communication: Prepare and present systems engineering work products to internal review teams and external customers at program milestone reviews.
• Project Management and Technical Direction: Participate in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities based on evaluation of all necessary development and operational considerations.
