Hitachi Rail is seeking a Track Layout Mechanic to install signaling devices and their electronic and mechanical components. The role involves assembling and taking over materials for installation, installing and testing signaling devices, and overseeing the installation and construction work of subcontractors.

Requirements

• Vocational training in a specific field, such as locksmith, metalworker, switch mechanic, switch locksmith, or signal mechanic
• High mobility for installation assignments at customers throughout Germany
• Handicraft skills and a good understanding of technical processes
• Knowledge from the field of rail technology, signal and switch mechanics (advantageous)
