Job description
Design and operate a trusted, sovereign Google Cloud region, operated end-to-end from within Europe by the joint venture between Thales and Google Cloud. The role involves designing the security perimeter of a sovereign cloud, including credential, key, and identity management.
Operate HashiCorp Vault as a platform-wide secrets service, maintain Identity Providers, design credential management, drive encryption & key management, secure communication patterns, and bake security-by-design into every deployment.
Must-have: 7+ years in Security / DevSecOps / Platform Security, strong hands-on with HashiCorp Vault, solid IAM / Identity Providers, hands-on KMS / encryption key management, cloud security best practices, Linux fundamentals, and network security. Nice to have: Kubernetes secrets patterns, Terraform / IaC, SIEM exposure, and sovereign cloud experience.
