Construction Surveyor

Role Overview

Thalle Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a Construction Surveyor to perform various tasks associated with survey and layout. The Surveyor will work closely with the operations team and interact with staff at all levels. The role requires flexibility, resourcefulness, and a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

What You Will Do

The Surveyor will utilize total station and GPS equipment and computer software in project assignments. They will be responsible for understanding project documents, performing survey computations and data collection, and preparing sketches, maps, and reports.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with heavy civil projects and structures, proficiency in operating robotic tool stations, GPS, and level, and experience with AutoCAD. They must be able to work independently, be detail-oriented, and possess good communication skills.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with heavy civil projects and structures
• Current proficiency operating a robotic tool station, GPS, and level
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Knowledge of geological description principles and methods
• Knowledge of applicable laws, legal codes, and government regulation
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Valid Driver's License
