Job Description
The Academy Charter Schools is seeking a Food Service Worker to prepare and/or build food items, provide customer service, and uphold food safety, handling, and sanitation standards. The school focuses on character development and community service, aiming to produce responsible and engaged members of the community. The position offers a technology-rich, interdisciplinary curriculum.
Requirements
- Prepares and builds food items according to standardized recipes.
- Properly stores food and adheres to food safety policies.
- Sets up work stations, including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, steam tables, etc.
- Serves food to students, teachers, and administrators.
- Replenishes food items and ensures proper stock levels.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
