Communication Systems Laboratory Engineering Specialist

Join The Aerospace Corporation as a Communication Systems Laboratory Engineering Specialist and contribute to solving the nation's hardest problems in space programs. As part of the Mission Payloads Division, you will work with talented engineers to create and advance remote sensing systems, radar, artificial intelligence, and data networks. You will perform analysis, modeling, and simulation to design and evaluate communication systems, signals, and signal processing algorithms. The selected candidate will work full-time on-site at our facility in El Segundo, CA.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or related applicable technical discipline
• Six or more years of relevant engineering experience with increasing responsibility
• Experience with RF satellite communication systems (hardware and software, systems engineering, RF system design requirements development, integration and test, system development, or related field)
• Understanding of several communication systems and digital signal processing concepts
• Experience with software defined radios
• Fluency in MATLAB, Python, or C/C++
• Ability to obtain a current and active TS/SCI security clearance
