Job Description
The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an experienced Mission Systems Engineer to lead systems engineering efforts for prototype development, from concept through integration and testing, in a small, dynamic team environment. As the Systems Engineer/Integrator for systems that combine Aerospace payloads and commercial small satellite buses, you will be responsible for managing system architecture, requirements development, and key technical decisions across electrical, mechanical, thermal, software, and other disciplines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or a related technical field
- 5 years of experience in prototype development or technology insertion
- Expertise in mission concept development, requirements flow-down, and technology maturation
- Experience throughout the full systems engineering lifecycle, with hands-on work in labs
- Current Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI
