Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

The Aerospace Corporation is looking for Senior Cybersecurity Engineers to lead teams of cybersecurity professionals in solving hard problems encountered in developing, acquiring, deploying, operating, and maintaining trusted systems. The successful candidate will work with customers throughout the system development life cycle to develop policies, requirements, prototypes, demonstrations, architectures, and solutions that protect systems, keep computer systems and network devices hardened against attacks, and securing highly sensitive data.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related STEM technical field
• At least 10 years of system security or information security engineering
• Proven work experience as a system security engineer or information security engineer
• Experience defining and analyzing threat/vulnerability likelihood, coupled with mission impact, to determine risk
• Hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc
