Job Description
The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead teams of cybersecurity professionals and solve complex security problems in the development, acquisition, deployment, operation, and maintenance of trusted systems.
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related STEM technical field
- At least 10 years of system security or information security engineering
- Demonstrated experience in system security or information security engineering
- Experience defining and analyzing threat/vulnerability likelihood
- Hands on experience in security systems
- Experience with network security and networking technologies
- Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
- Familiarity with web related technologies and network/web related protocols
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and deliver effective solutions in high pressure environments
- Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance issued by the US government
