The Aerospace Corporation is looking for Senior Cybersecurity Engineers to lead teams of cybersecurity professionals and solve hard problems encountered in developing, acquiring, deploying, operating, and maintaining trusted systems.
Requirements
- Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information
- Provide the Government with systems security engineering and cybersecurity expertise
- Identify and recommend strategies for mitigation and/or removal of ground and space cybersecurity vulnerabilities
- Provide cybersecurity expertise in support of critical decision points and provide ground truth assessments of security events/activities and posture
- Identify and define system security requirements
- Design computer security architecture and develop detailed cybersecurity designs
- Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols
- Participate in risk management activities to ensure cybersecurity risks are evaluated and effective mitigations applied in accordance with security directives
- Review of cybersecurity test procedures for requirements satisfaction, including participation in Test Readiness Review activities and witnessing of test events
- Participate in Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) planning and implementation
- Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices
- Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
- Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement
