The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Space Electromagnetic Warfare Systems Engineer to provide communication systems engineering expertise for the United States Space Force (USSF) Combat Forces Command (CFC) Mission Delta 3 Sustainment Squadron. The selected candidate will lead Mission Delta 3 in defining, acquiring, verifying, fielding, integrating, maintaining, and refining USSF space EW warfighting capabilities while being cognizant of cost, schedule, technical performance, and risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science or related STEM field is required
- 8 or more years of increasingly responsible and relevant professional experience in the national security space mission area is required
- Ability to analyze satellite and ground communication systems, including the interpretation and review of detailed technical specifications and interface control documents
- Project development experience coupled with ability to lead and participate in multi-disciplinary teams
- Professional technical experience with communication systems
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time, including the potential for OCONUS travel (as required)
- Current and active TS/SCI security clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain access to SAP, which is issued by the U.S. government
