Space Systems Mission Assurance Strategist

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Space Systems Mission Assurance Strategist to support customers at the cutting edge of space programs, enabling faster execution and smarter, risk-informed decisions by adapting mission assurance approaches. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, program management, and/or the ability to integrate multiple technical viewpoints into cohesive systems view.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in math, science, or engineering from a recognized institution or equivalent relevant experience
• 12 years of relevant professional engineering / scientific experience including program office and systems engineering of space systems or similar systems
• Experience in systems engineering, program management, and/or the ability to integrate multiple technical viewpoints into cohesive systems view
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences and ability to summarize complex information for executive level communication
• Ability to work effectively with Aerospace peers, internal and external customers, senior staff, and in a team setting
