The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Systems Director - Sensors and Intelligence Integration to lead a team that performs analyses of enterprise performance and identifies key risks, issues, and gaps in space-enabled mission threads. The selected candidate will work full-time, on-site at our facility in El Segundo, CA.
Requirements
- Leading a team of technical staff responsible for integrating space sensor and intelligence systems-of-systems and delivering key mission capabilities to customers and end users
- Surveying processes, products, and data flows, identifying high-information nodes, and resolving friction points to improve connectivity, resilience, and speed of department processes and products
- Engaging across program offices and technical functions to identify complex problems, communicate challenges, and coordinate products and solutions
- Developing and managing relationships with internal and external customers and contractors to maintain and enhance the department’s impact, visibility, and reputation
- Managing department functions including hiring staff, aligning tasks with skillsets and growth areas, enforcing corporate policies and practices, conducting performance appraisals, reporting significant progress and challenges to leadership, and recognizing outstanding performance and growth
