Join The AES Corporation, a Fortune 500 company, as an EPC Project Manager to oversee high impact photovoltaic solar and energy storage projects. Manage project planning, construction, commissioning, and turnover to Operations. Assist with due diligence, lead construction planning, and define EPC scopes of work. Reporting to the Director of Project Management. Periodic travel required.
Requirements
- Define and document RFPs and scope of work packages for 3rd party EPC firms.
- Conduct due diligence on potential solar sites and evaluate suitability.
- Act as Owner's Representative for EPC Contract Management on high impact PV solar and energy storage projects.
- Review and manage EPC Contractor schedules, budgets, and scope.
- Manage utility interconnection processes and related documentation.
- Manage engagements with project stakeholders and represent the company.
- Support permitting and jurisdictional approval processes.
- Coordinate with EPC contractors and equipment vendors.
- Manage project quality control and safe construction practices.
- Lead project status update meetings.
- Manage the collection and filing of project documentation.
- Lead the coordination of project turnover exercises.
- Assist with the development of internal operating policies and procedures.
