Senior Analyst, Application Development & Energy Control Systems

As a Senior Analyst, Application Development & Energy Control Systems, you will design, construct, and ensure reliable performance for AES Clean Energy Generation Management, SCADA and other technology systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related experience
• Experience with designing and implementation of real-time Generation control systems
• Good technical understanding of hardware, software and overall technology
• Good written and verbal communications skills
• Understanding of Automatic Generation Control (AGC)
• Familiarity with Monarch Scada software in use and design to meet end user requirements
• Familiarity with programming language C like scripting
• Familiarity with ETAPro preferred not required
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Problem solving skills
