Job Description
The Associated Press is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide 24x7 support for all global products and services. The role involves assisting external clients with technical problems, setting up APIs, and troubleshooting issues with various tools and technologies.
Requirements
- College degree, technical degree or relevant comparable experience
- 1+ year(s) customer support experience (telephone, email, online chat, etc.)
- Service-oriented attitude and ability to communicate and coordinate well with clients and global team members
- Proven ability to work in a team environment
- Familiarity with client integrations pertaining to various Content Management Systems and Vendor Solutions
- Understanding of network protocols TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, SMTP and NNTP
