Cook $20-$24/hr (Gig Shift)

We are looking for a Cook to join our team at The Boulevard Senior Living in St. Charles, Missouri. The Cook will prepare menu items according to established standards and recipes, provide exceptional quality food, and ensure health protocols are followed. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skills in leadership, training, and supervision, and possess proficient written and oral communication skills. The role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day, and the ability to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. The starting wage is $20.00-$24.00 per hour, and the position is available for part-time and on-call shifts.

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents.
• Must possess a current Food Handlers Card as specified per the Department of Health.
• Must have demonstrated skills, knowledge, and competency in the areas of leadership, training, and supervision.
• Must possess proficient written and oral communication skills with other members of management, professional, and support staff.
• Must be active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
• Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be comfortable in close contact to extreme temperatures, including cooking surfaces and walk-in freezers.
