Job Description
The BC SPCA is seeking an Animal Care Attendant to care for the health and welfare of animals in the Shelter. The successful candidate will have experience in customer relations and animal husbandry, and will uphold the highest animal care standards.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class N or 5 BC Drivers' License and driver's abstract
- Demonstrable interest in all aspects of animal welfare
- Knowledge of the geography of the Branch's warrant area
- Sound knowledge of animals, their breeds, characteristics and common diseases
- Ability to work as a team player and demonstrable well-developed interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to prioritize demands on time
