The Channel Company is seeking a Senior Events Coordinator to join their Events team. The role involves the end-to-end operational delivery of high-quality dinners, conferences and awards ceremonies. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience delivering B2B events and possess excellent time management and organisational skills.
Requirements
- Own the professional and timely delivery of a portfolio of events
- Deliver a range of formats including executive dinners, conferences and large-scale awards ceremonies
- Manage multiple events concurrently
- Build, manage and track event budgets
- Act as the main operational point of contact for venues, AV, production partners and other suppliers
- Source and negotiate venues and suppliers to achieve best value while maintaining quality
- Work closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure sponsor deliverables are understood and delivered
- Collaborate effectively with Marketing, Editorial, Design and Production teams to ensure alignment across all event elements
- Lead on-site delivery, including build, rehearsals, live show management and breakdown
- Be available and willing to travel within the UK and internationally, and to work flexibly around live event delivery requirements
- Remain calm, solutions-focused and decisive in high-pressure, live environments
- Support junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement of event processes and best practice
- Champion sustainable practices and consider environmental impact throughout event planning and delivery
