Job Description
The Facilities Technician is responsible for the upkeep of building facilities, grounds, and the modification to the structure or layout of the facility. The position also requires the organization and coordination of facility projects and work requests from TCC Support.
Requirements
- Act as the primary contact for all clinic sites for any facilities issues (climate control, odors, smoke, spills, damage, emergencies, and repairs)
- Monitor contractor performance and work closely with outside vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed according to specifications
- Assist in projects including large-scale repair and new facility construction projects
- Perform basic low voltage electrical work and determine when an electrician is required
- Hang pictures, assemble, and install shelves as needed
- Dismantle and install furniture as needed
- Assist in transporting goods or equipment as needed
- Perform routine upkeep duties necessary to maintain a clean facility
- Provide a high level of customer service for all support queries in line with TCC’s Service Management Principles
