Job Description
We are seeking a Medical Assistant/FO Clerk to support both administrative and clinical operations in an outpatient clinic setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping the underserved in their community and excellent communication and organization skills.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant certification and Phlebotomy certification
- Proficiency with computers, typing (35 wpm minimum), Microsoft Office, and general office equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively, relate well to diverse populations, and provide exceptional customer service
- Reliability, professionalism, trustworthiness, and strong ethical standards
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-stress environment while maintaining confidentiality
- Familiarity with medical terminology and EMR systems (EPIC preferred)
