Job Description
Supports patient care by ensuring comfort and safety, following the model of care at TCH, which emphasizes collaboration between patients, families, and healthcare teams. Performs clinical tasks assigned by the RN and maintains patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Demonstrate key behavioral competencies such as effective communication, adaptability, teamwork, and personal accountability
- Ensure patient and unit safety
- Provide patient comfort and hygiene, documenting according to policy
- Orient patients and families to the hospital environment and facilitate communication throughout the hospitalization process
