Job Description
Manages daily patient and physician scheduling, answers phone calls, greets visitors, and performs various clerical duties.
Requirements
- Answers telephone and directs calls to appropriate staff
- Manages the physician’s outlook calendar
- Greets visitors and patients
- Performs patient check-in and check-out
- Collects co-pays and outstanding balances
- Obtains, records, and updates personal and financial patient information
- Verifies referrals and performs pre-certifications
- Types, mails, faxes correspondence
- Orders office supplies and maintains front office and reception area cleanliness
