Provide attentive, prompt, and friendly service to customers, maintain knowledge of products, and prepare high-quality foods according to customer needs. Ensure inventory is stored and stocked correctly, handle products safely, and participate in maintaining cleanliness and order.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent education or experience
- Minimum 1 year's experience in retail or food service environment
- Minimum 1 year's experience with natural foods and products
- Supports the co-op's core values and aligns with the Co-op Code of Conduct
- Ability to accurately measure ingredients or calculate change
- Ability to adapt to evolving co-op needs or feedback
- Maintains composure in stressful situations
- Familiarity with POS systems (preferred)
- Ability to work any shift, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Must wear closed-toe shoes, head covering, and long pants
- Ability to work in varying temperatures
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, reach, kneel, twist, and climb
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Reliable access to transportation
