Job Description
Join DREAM as a Summer Enrichment Coordinator and help create and implement free local summer activities with youth in marginalized communities. The role involves planning and leading activities, team work, and communication with youth, caregivers, and community members. DREAM is a 501(c)3 charitable organization that provides a physically, emotionally, and mentally safe and inclusive environment for youth.
Requirements
- Plan and implement eight weeks of fun, memorable, enriching summer daytime activities using our summer learning objectives for youth living in low income housing
- Communicate regularly with co-service members, supervisor, caregivers of youth in the program, and community members
- Provide a physically, emotionally, and mentally safe and inclusive environment for youth and team members
- Develop skills in youth engagement, positive behavior management, adaptability, problem solving, and community outreach
