Dietitian/Nutritionist

The Dietitian/Nutritionist for The Kessler Center (part of Easterseals New York) will provide guidance on healthy living and nutrition for residents, implement meal plans, work with healthcare teams, and teach on food selection. The role offers full-time or part-time availability and may involve consulting with psychiatric teams or behavioral specialists. It focuses on empowering clients and promoting independence.

Requirements

• Overseeing screening of new clients for nutritional risk/need
• Making recommendations to admissions committee
• Performing nutritional assessments
• Developing and implementing nutrition interventions
