Job Description
The Job Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with employers to promote employment opportunities for participants referred by the District of Columbia's Department of Human Services (DHS). They work directly with participants to restore confidence, build self-efficacy, and reinforce future orientation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Workforce Development, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience conducting job development and job placement activities
- 2-3 years of experience navigating public systems navigation and addressing barriers faced by individuals experiencing generational poverty
