Vocational Evaluator

The Vocational Evaluator will be responsible for completing comprehensive Individual Vocational Assessments and Plans (IVAPs) for vocational rehabilitation participants. This involves managing caseloads, conducting interviews, assessing participants’ vocational interests, and developing employment plans. Case conferences will be held with other WeCare service providers.

Requirements

• Manage caseload to ensure timely completion of vocational evaluation and employment planning services.
• Interview participants to gather information on employment, education, and training histories.
• Assess participants’ vocational interests, abilities, strengths, weaknesses, aptitudes, behaviors, and functional limitations.
• Supervise motivational techniques and organizational ability.
• Develop employment plans and community service referrals.
• Document participant services in management information systems.
