Job Description
A long-standing nonprofit organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its close-knit, collaborative finance team.
Requirements
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards
- Support the CFO with financial planning and operational reporting
- Participate in annual audits and coordinate with external auditors
- Help maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls
