Senior Staff Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join our team in Tempe, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, excellent problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include preparing tax returns, supervising team members, and utilizing practice management software.

• Computer proficiency (electronic document processing and storage)
• Accounting software proficiency (Thomson Reuters Accounting CS, QuickBooks)
• Tax preparation software proficiency
• Microsoft Office suite proficiency (MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word)
• Adobe Acrobat document processing proficiency
• Business writing skills (prepare and modify business correspondence and email correspondence)
• Interpret information provided by clients in the context of federal and state tax law
• Prepare individual tax reporting
• Prepare business tax reporting
• Prepare fiduciary tax reporting
• Prepare annual accounting for business clients
• Supervise team members
• Utilize practice management system
• Assist Owner with technology and management projects
