The Globe and Mail is seeking an Education Manager to manage and grow education-category revenues across digital subscriptions. The role involves developing and selling subscription programs to universities, driving subscription activation and usage through effective campus engagement initiatives, and partnering with the Advertising team to grow revenue opportunities and strengthen relationships within the university sector.
Requirements
- Develop and sell subscription programs to universities, providing digital access for students, faculty, and administrative staff.
- Drive subscription activation and usage through effective campus engagement initiatives.
- Partner with the Advertising team to grow revenue opportunities and strengthen relationships within the university sector.
- Identify and build partnerships with third-party organizations that can expand educational reach and revenue.
- Collaborate with Editorial on student-focused content strategies (e.g., careers, personal finance, media literacy).
- Work with Digital and Product teams to develop tools that support student needs (e.g., career-readiness tools, financial-literacy resources).
- Partner with the Engagement team to increase activation, retention, and ongoing engagement among student subscribers.
- Support the development and execution of integrated strategies that deepen relationships with students, faculty, and institutions.
