Job Description
The Globe and Mail is seeking an ambitious editor to manage the Ottawa bureau and lead our coverage of national politics. As Politics Editor, you’ll be at the centre of our mission-driven journalism, driving a variety of coverage, from breaking news to enterprise reporting to profiles of Canada’s most influential and interesting people.
Requirements
- At least 10 years working in news media, with at least three years of previous experience managing a team
- Strong news judgment, with endless curiosity about what’s happening around you
- Strong editing and mentorship skills
- Ability to work some evening and weekend hours
