As a Dialectical Behavioral Therapist in the Adult Behavioral Health Program, you will be responsible for maintaining a caseload of clients with primary diagnosis of substance abuse/chemical dependence and/or mental health, conducting intake assessments, maintaining case records, and providing individual and group psychotherapy.
Requirements
- Masters in Social Work or related field from an accredited program
- State of Michigan Licensure (LLMSW, LMSW, TLLP, Ph.D/LP, LLPC, LPC)
- One year experience working with adult clients with substance abuse/chemical dependency and/or mental health diagnosis
- Eligibility for Qualified Mental Health Professional provisional certification
- Cultural competency
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse population
- Ability to engage and maintain therapeutic relationships with youth and families
- Ability to develop collaborative relationships with other unit staff and providers
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
