The Guidance Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to nurturing development, fostering resilience, and cultivating well-being through a comprehensive suite of mental health and developmental services for children, youth, adults, and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Since 1958, it has delivered treatment, prevention, growth, and education programs to over 15,000 people annually across 25 programs.

Therapist, Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health
Must have a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling and 1 year of supervised experience in treating minors and their families
Individual Therapist, Foster Care
Master’s degree, licensure in Michigan, and Child Mental Health Professional certification
Assistant Teacher, 10-month, Full-Time
An Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, with knowledge and understanding of early childhood development, and previous experience working with preschool children
Recovery Coach- Adult behavioral health
2+ years of sobriety, valid MI driver's license, and excellent interpersonal skills required
Supervisor, Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities
1 year of experience in examining and treating children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disability diagnoses, Master's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling
Therapist, At-Risk Youth
Masters degree in social work, counseling, or psychology, license eligible in Michigan, and ability to travel throughout the day
Sub Assistant Teacher (On-Call), All Sites
Associate degree in Early Childhood Education. 12 credits in early childhood education. CDA or state CA license & ongoing program completion is needed
Psychiatrist
Must hold relevant licenses and certifications (Physician, Pharmacy Controlled Substance, DEA). Psychiatric board eligibility is preferred
Case Manager
Bachelor's degree in social work or related field, 3 years of experience in child and family services, valid chauffeur's license
Therapist, Dialectical Behavioral (DBT)
Masters degree, 1+ year of experience, and state licensure required
