Job Description
Join The Gund Company as an Estimating Specialist, where you will determine the best process cost structure to meet customer requirements and work with customer service and sales teams to prepare quotations. This role involves analyzing project details, working closely with engineering and production staff, and requiring extensive knowledge of products and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and Relative Certifications
- Three to five yearsâ experience with custom manufacturing quoting processes
- Outstanding Excel skills including formulas, lookup tables, and ODBC links
- Proficiency creating written and pictorial documentation of manufacturing processes
- Experience with computer software including MS Office and ERP software
- Experience in low volume, high variety manufacturing (plus)
- Experience working as a machinist or craftsman (plus)
- Experience working in an ISO quality environment (plus)
