Job Description
Seeking a detail-oriented Remote Architectural Takeoff Specialist to produce accurate material takeoffs for storefronts, curtain walls, glazing systems, and related façade assemblies.
Requirements
- Proficient level of English (written and spoken)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams and internal leaders
- Proven experience performing quantity takeoffs for CSI Division 8 (storefronts, curtain wall, glazing systems)
- Proficiency with takeoff software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Slack or similar tools
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, tables, organized summaries)
- Strong understanding of building systems, design concepts, and construction materials
- Prior experience as a Takeoff Specialist, Estimator, Draftsman, or similar construction-related role
- Familiarity with material pricing and cost estimation
- Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and storefront/curtain wall systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
- Reliable availability for communication during working hours
- Sound judgment and the capacity to comprehend and execute instructions promptly with minimal supervision
