Job Description
Hinckley Yachts is seeking a Gelcoat Patcher for their production facility in Trenton, Maine. The role involves basic repairs and re-gelcoat defects in fiberglass boat hulls, decks, and cabins using hand tools and power tools. Requirements
- Examines parts for mold and lamination defects
- Grinds out defective areas or smooths edges using dremel or grinder
- Catches and mixes gelcoat and resin solution
- Shapes and smooths edges to match contours
- Buffs and polishes repaired surfaces
- Follow instructions and procedures
- Follow safety rules and regulations
