Account Manager

The Insurance Market is seeking a licensed and experienced Account Manager in Commercial Lines to manage assigned book of business. The role involves client consultation, renewal management, need analysis, communication, and building relationships. The account manager will ensure high service delivery and proactive communication with clients.

Requirements

• Must be self-motivated and disciplined
• Excellent time management, organizational and verbal and written communication skills
• Must be very detail-oriented
• 2+ years customer service experience
• Ability to work with clients at a strategic level
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Current insurance license, preferred
• Willingness to earn insurance designation(s)
• Experience and expertise in operating in an electronic environment
• Excellent automation skills, Outlook, Word, Excel, document management software, carrier proprietary systems, and phone systems
• 3+ years’ experience in account management or in a consultative role
• Prior experience in broker agency or benefits administration firm, required
• Current insurance license, preferred
