Parts & Inventory Coordinator

Alaska Marine Lines is seeking a detail-oriented Parts and Inventory Coordinator to manage inventory levels and movement, order and receive parts, and track materials and supplies. The role is responsible for performing regular inventory counts, reconciling system data, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate will have a high school education or GED, with two years of related experience and training in procurement, supply chain coordination, and warehousing.

Requirements

• Perform regular inventory counts, reconcile system data, and maintain accurate inventory records
• Review inventory data to identify slow-moving, surplus, or obsolete items and implement inventory adjustments and ordering modifications
• Initiate, process, and track requisitions and purchase orders, and expedite deliveries to ensure continuous availability of parts and materials
• Review and reconcile purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices, and resolve discrepancies
• Organize, store, and distribute parts, tools, and supplies for quick access and minimal loss or downtime
• Operate company forklifts and vehicles as required to receive, move, stage, or distribute materials on-site and off-site in a safe and efficient manner
