Job Description
As a Peer Support Specialist for the Medication Assisted Recovery program, you will build meaningful relationships with patients to empower them to achieve their personal goals. You will provide recovery-oriented support to individuals living with substance misuse disorders and mental illness.
Requirements
- Working with a multi-disciplinary team
- Applying stages of change and motivational interviewing skills
- Using lived experience to engage individuals in identifying and working toward goals
- Providing support to individuals that fosters independence, autonomy, and self-advocacy
