K-5 Elementary Teacher Pool (2026-2027)

The Museum School of Avondale Estates seeks qualified K-5 classroom teachers to develop and implement hands-on, interactive lessons aligned with Georgia Standards of Excellence. The teacher will differentiate curriculum for students and collaborate with school staff and museum staff to develop thematic units and schedule Learning Expeditions.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelors Degree
• Georgia certification in appropriate field of education
• Knowledge of and experience implementing various instructional and teaching methodologies
• Experience working with a diverse student population
• Experience integrating curriculum, Georgia Standards of Excellence, and effective instructional practices
• Excellent organizational, planning, and implementation skills
• Effective written and oral communication skills
